Information

One of the prettiest ships in Halong, the steel-hulled Au Co offers smooth sailing through Halong and Lan Ha bays. Retrace the steps of colonial-era explorers in vintage style aboard this 32-cabin ship, visiting hidden beaches, forested islands, and gorgeous sea lakes.

In early 2020, the twin Au Co ships received a comprehensive renovation, lending a beautiful contemporary feel to the ancient Vietnamese legend on which the ships are inspired. Returning guests will enjoy the same sophisticated ambiance aboard the Au Co with several delightful upgrades. Updated cabins feature a modern Asian flair, subtly incorporating design elements telling the love story of Princess Au Co and her Dragon Lord of the Sea.

  • One cabin or suite can accommodate maximum two (2) adults and one (1) child under 12 years old. Additional charges may apply for occupancy by more than two (2) guests per room or suite.
  • - Children are allowed to stay in the same cabin/suite with their parent either with or without an extra mattress.
  • - Children under two (2) years old are free of charge.
  • - Children aged from three to eleven (3 - 11) sharing a cabin/suite with two adults on an extra mattress will be charged extra, and limited to one additional child per cabin/suite only
  • - Two children under 12 years old and sharing a private cabin/suite is charged at 75% of the adult rate.
  • - Children aged 12 and over will be charged at the adult rate.
  • - Passenger must provide: Confirmed arrival and departure dates, number of cabins and passengers, passenger's names, passport and visa numbers, cabin category (SGL/DBL/TWIN), special requirements (e.g. gifts, dietary requirements, etc.) at least seven (7) days prior to the check-in.
